We can provide a comfortable home away from home for you to stay at for a short time, whether it’s overnight, a weekend, or a holiday period. Our short-term accommodation options are perfect for experiencing a more independent living situation or giving you, your parents, or your carers a short break from the usual routine.
During your stay, you will have 24/7 care from support workers (if required), whilst you interact with others in the house, making friends and experiencing life in a shared living environment.
Our Respite Home Care Services Support You
Our Respite care is a short-term support service that is also referred to as “Short-Term Accommodation and Assistance” or STAA.
We are proud to provide temporary accommodation that respects each individual’s preferences, tailored to their needs and their family. We can also support you to find accommodation in a dedicated respite facility or be at ease in your own home with the support of a respite care provider.
The purpose of respite care is to provide relief, an opportunity to have a break, try new activities, and meet new people.
Our personal support workers offer assistance with activities such as:
- Personal grooming, bathing, toileting, and hygiene tasks
- Mobility and transfers
- Medication reminders and monitoring
- Companionship
- Light housekeeping, meal planning, and meal preparation
- Shopping and errands
